Artist Statement
My sculpture is an evolving process, which strives to capture an elemental, perhaps even spiritual, image of the crow. Changing forms,mediums,textural elements, and the use of color in unexpected places keep the sculpture fresh and fun.I hope that my sculptures enhance the spaces in peoples lives and maybe bring to them ,an element of whimsy.

After teaching art in the early 1970's, I took a hiatus from my art career for about 25 years, working in the construction industry. My passion for creating art has been rekindled since moving to the Leelanau penninsula. The natural beauty that surrounds us in this place is an inspiration for the sculptural forms I create for garden and home.
