Carla Sutton

Painter

Statement
Sutton’s evocative oil paintings are predominately of the Leelanau/Grand Traverse region, focusing on sweeping views of Lake Michigan and Grand Traverse Bay, the expansive skies and wealth of orchards and vineyards in the area. Her paintings remind us of our deep connection to the land, and the sense that we can still find serenity in our increasingly fast-paced world. Sutton’s paintings can be found in private and corporate collections in the Midwest and beyond.
