Artist
Statement
Kim's work is bold and fun. She celebrates color, pattern and shape, creating
dynamic visual contrast within each piece . The colors she uses are vibrant;
the patterns are clean and simple yet bold; and the shapes are often altered
to create an sense of movement and playfulness. Kim uses both wheel thrown and
hand building techniques, often combining both in the same piece.
