Dana Constand

Folk Artist

Artist’s Statement:
I have always been an artist and always an animal lover.
These paintings are my heart on paper.

Bio:
Dana grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts
from the University of Michigan in 1990 and has pursued a career in
painting from that moment on.

Northern Michigan has been home for the last 16 years.  Here, Dana lives
with husband, John, their two daughters, Scarlett and Isabel, and two dogs,
Pearl the chow mix and Veronika the french bulldog.  Dana works out of a
home studio so she can be there for 9 year old Scarlett and 2 1/2 year old
baby Isabel.  Dana serves on the board of the Little Traverse Bay Humane
Society and volunteers at Scarlett's school weekly.  Life is full!
Family, community, and the beauty of Northern  Michigan, all these things
feed the spirit that creates.
