Statement
My paintings are richly textured using a process of multiple layers which
are built-up and partially obscured, leaving glimpses of what once existed.
I am inspired by the unexpected allure and grace that can be found in corrosion
and decay, both urban and organic; and the richness and significance derived
from a fleeting moment of time. My paintings serve as a metaphor for life
experiences and growth.
