Bio:
Jim Anderson has been a pilot since 1968, inheriting his father’s love of flying and a 1940 J-3 Piper Cub. The love of flying and an interest in photography led to the establishment of Anderson Aerial Photography in 1980. Jim added a 1978 Cessna 172 Skyhawk to the business which has increased his aerial coverage area. After 31 years as a Speech and Language Pathologist in Traverse City, Jim retired in 1997 to pursue aerial photography. Jim and his wife Jan reside in Traverse City.

Jim’s photographic equipment includes a Fuji S3 12.8 mega pixel digital camera with Nikon lenses and gyroscopic stabilizer. Jim works throughout the State of Michigan with specialization in Northern Michigan.
