We have relocated to beautiful Traverse City!
(see map below)
Michigan Artists Gallery has recently relocated to the vibrant harbor town of Traverse City, in the northwest part of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. Traverse City sits at the base of the two magnificent peninsulas of Leelanau County and Old Mission Peninsula, surrounded by the deep blue and aqua waters of Lake Michigan.
Traverse City, which is known as the Cherry Capital of the world, is home to the Traverse City Film Festival and National Cherry Festival. Also, nearby is Interlochen Arts Academy, with its many outstanding year around performing arts events.
Near by are the many charming villages of Leelanau County including Suttons Bay, Northport, Glen Arbor, and Leland, where, from its famous waterfront area called Fishtown, you can catch a ferry ride to the beautiful Manitou Islands.
Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and its adjoining Pierce Stocking Drive were recently voted the most beautiful places in America, is a must-see. Enjoy spectacular views from the sand dune bluffs offering breathtaking views of Lake Michigan and the Manitou Islands.
The entire Traverse City region has become well known for its culture of year around outdoor activities, cherry orchards, beautiful vineyards, and wineries. Ski resorts in the winter and biking and boating in the summer make it heaven on earth.
