WE HAVE RELOCATED TO BEAUTIFUL DOWNTOWN TRAVERSE CITY!
Welcome to Michigan Artists Gallery (MAG) where you will find the best of award-winning Michigan artists. MAG is a fine art gallery, decidedly contemporary, and is renowned for its mixed media, contemporary folk art, which is colorful, joyful, uplifting, and often humorous. The artwork is two and three dimensional in the form of sculpture, hand-colored linoleum prints, shadow boxes, found object works, tile work, ceramics, and jewelry. MAG also has outstanding regional landscapes and photography.
Michigan Artists Gallery was named as one of three essential art venues in “100 Best Art Towns in America” for the Grand Traverse area. It was also five times voted "Best Gallery in Leelanau County,” our former location. MAG has also been named one of the best northern Michigan galleries in Traverse Magazine’s RED HOT BEST.
After 19 years in Suttons Bay the gallery is now relocated to Traverse City (T.C.), one block east of The State Theatre, directly across from the Larry C. Hardy Parking Deck, in Grand Traverse County. T.C. is the home to the National Cherry Festival and the Traverse City Film Festival. We are near The Sleeping Bear Dunes which recently was voted the most beautiful place in America. Founded in 1997, we are celebrating our 22nd year in business, MAG is open year around and holds special exhibits throughout the year. Be sure to tour our artist’s pages on this website and to make Michigan Artists Gallery a destination when you are in northwest Michigan.
